“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.”  All we have belongs to God and it’s our privilege to give back a portion of the gifts He has given us.  Online giving is a tool to make this easier.

Online giving saves time, encourages consistency, allows for one-time or recurring tithes and offerings, giving to single or multiple funds simultaneously, and enables you to view your online giving history any time.

Our online giving use eChecks only, not accepting credit cards, as we encourage debt free living.

Because of a per transaction fee with each donation, we encourage monthly donations. However, if this does not fit in with your giving needs, simply give as you prefer.

Call the office 402-423-5062 or email for more information.

Thank you for your faithfulness.

Southview pays a $25 hosting fee to the giving service each month. For every donation there is a 25¢ transaction fee, along with a service fee of .15%. Giving once monthly is encouraged to keep those fees low.

Online giving currently amounts to approximately one-third of giving at Southview.

AmazonSmile for Amazon Shoppers

If you shop on Amazon, you’ve probably seen suggestions for designating a charitable organization to receive a small percentage of what you spend through a program called AmazonSmile. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice.

The church council wants you to know Southview Baptist Church (Lincoln) is now on the list of eligible organizations. If you would like to designate the church to receive these funds, please search the list and choose Southview. Make sure it states Southview Baptist Church in Lincoln, NE. The proceeds will go to our Giving to Grow account.

While amount is small, it can add up, and comes from spending that you are doing anyway. (We ask that you not shift any of your spending away from local businesses to Amazon because of this program.) There is no cost to you. Amazon does this behind the scenes.

Consider adding AmazonSmile as a “favorite” so you go there every time you shop Amazon.

If you have any questions, please contact Pamela Schmidt the Church Council budget lead.
